What We Do
After we have set up our boards, paper or foamboard at your event we begin to capture the information visually and gradually build up a picture throughout the day. We photograph the final image/s before handing the artwork to the client.
Back in the studio, we digitise the image in Photoshop and email the client a high resolution digital version.
We can also work remotely from notes given to us by a client to produce high resolution digital artwork.
We can create sketchnotes, big pictures, timelines of a colleague’s career path, or even caricatures.
How We work
Once we have received the brief from the client we achieve visual inspiration through brainstorming ideas that we share with the project team. Any visual metaphors or possible design ideas are discussed. Rough drafts are then produced to ensure our thinking reflects the client’s narrative.
At this stage we discuss the style of the characters in the visual. This is the opportunity for the client to share examples of a particular “look” if they have one in mind. Many clients leave this up to us. We produce figures to ensure the style meets with a client’s expectation.
It is not enough for the image to be visually pleasing; its informative and motivational value should live longer than a workshop or meeting.
The templates are designed to be an experience to illustrate a way of working, i.e. co-production rather than just information exchange adding value. This approach should be included in the process of producing the templates.
